I have 2 kontrollers and only the kontroller that kame in the box with my 360 kan konnect. When I try to hook up the other kontroller the ring of light flashes a bunch of times and the kontroller never achieves its goal of hooking up. I thought all kontrollers were universal so WTF?

I have the same issue sometimes too. If I'm playing, then pause the game and step away long enough for the controller to turn off, when I come back I can't get it to sync back up even if I hit the sync buttons again. I have to turn off the 360, then turn it back on with the controller. Once I do that, then the controller syncs up again. I dont know if that is your issue, but it seems to work for me. I would suggest trying that if you can't get it sync'd up without turning off the 360.
