wireless reciever for computer

well i got the wireless reciever i installed it then pluged it in like it said now what i turn on one of my controllers hit the button on top then hit the button on the reciever and nothing happens

did you hit the pairing buttons on both the reciever and the controller? anyway...i thought this product was terrible, i probably didn't use it properly but evertime i wanted to use my controller with my pc it would turn the 360 on (which i would then have to manually turn off) and then i couldnt turn off the controller via the pc unless i removed the battery pack. i might be an idiot afterall but it was just to cumbersome to put up with, i got my $20 back a day later

yes i got a green light and i hit the button on top of the controller and the reciever and it desn't do nething its sappose to come up what the controller is connected and what the battery life is and it doesn't do nething all the happends is the controller lights blink and the reciever goes back to solid green
