I'v never pladyed the ps3 so I might not be the right person to tell you this, but get the 360, better games, better graphics, and I herd the ps3 is buggy, also a note agents the 360, RED RING OF DEATH, this will make your 360 stop working until you get it repaired.

Just look up the exclusives and decide from that. I am personally going to own both but it just matters what you want.

I dunno if its just me but... when me and my brothers got RROD, we just shut it on and off a couple times and it was working fine. Has this happened to anyone else? Maybe it was the fact that a huge storm was going on and the power went out for like... a few minutes.

if you can, and you want to. get both.

there is a large library of great exclusive games for both of them, both established and coming.

i'd say wait for Sony's show tomarrow, it ought to be a good showing.

Yeah thats what got me thinking 360 cause $400 plus games cost too much $300 plus games is more affordable but i nedd ideas to change my parents minds is it a good dvd player for camping or is it a better multi-player system.

Harry Potter!

no really, I have all 3 systems, and my 360 gets 95% of the gameplay out of the 3. Its priced right, it has great games, excellent online and lots of people have it. So if all of your friends have a 360 and want to play, what are you going to buy? I never hear people planning a PSN meet up to play some Killzone or LBP.

^true.

360 has the community where it counts. PS3 though has some killer exclusives though.

However if you can ONLY choose one, i would say go 360. but if you can i would always say go PS360 route, you won't regret it.

I have both, and all I can say is exercise prudence with a ps3. This past weekend is the 2nd time I've had to replace mine because it stopped reading discs. The 1st one lasted 17 days, the 2nd about 14 months. I've been lucky to avoid red ring of death probs with my xbox 360.

Both have great games, but currently there's little in terms of exclusives on the horizon for xbox 360 that has my interest. I'm just starting up a game library for ps3, previously it was primarily used for movies.

Don't listen to the one guy who said all you have to worry about is the red ring of death. This is my 3rd 360 and just now it started freezing all the time when I'm playing a game and no lights come on. I'd go with a Ps3 because you don't have to worry about it breaking every year.
