do not get a core, all the money you'll spend getting a HDD and all the other stuff, it will work out at about the same price as a pro unit.

There is no real reason to get the Core version, MS should have phased that out during the introduction of the Elite.

If you can get the extra money, get the Premium version, you will get much more than what the Core provides (especially memory wise)

But if you are the 'must get the latest' kind of person, the Elite is a good option as well with the extra 100 gb of hard drive space over the Premium, HDMI port and plus it's in black (which looks really cool :))

The core is worthless unless you aren't ever going to want to go on live, like corded controllers, and don't mind buying a bunch of memory cards.

You have to go pro. you get the $99.00 HDD, the $50.00 wireless controller, the $20.00(?) hd cables, the $10.00 headset ,and one free month of live gold. One other thing...the term "hood" is short for neighborhood. There are millions of neighborhoods in the u.s. alone. So, which neighborhood are you from?

Get the premium, buying all that stuff you're going to need anyway is gonna cost you more if you get the core, but in the premium it's all included.
