theres people like myself who were very into halo 2 but then stopped playing it at least a year ago and are just waiting for halo 3
but there are also the players who have been playing halo 2 since its launch and will be until halo 3
will they have an advantage over us normal people???
i dont want to go into my first game online on halo 3 and get headshoted from all angles if u know what i mean...
i just hope it all starts fresh somehow so we can all get a chance to be a good competitionTIBS97
well yea of course they'll be better if all they did was play halo 2
The matchmaking in Halo 2 SUCKED!!!! I hated it, and hated their party system. I liked COD 2's better. As to the TC, they'll probably be better to start off with, but think of the last 2 years they've wasted playing a last gen game, and all the goodness you've been exposed to...that should suffice.WarchildYou might be the first person I've ever seen that hated Halo 2's matchmaking system. I think its brilliant.

As far as I could tell it was the most advanced player matching system to date. To be able to first get your friends together in a room and then move it into matchmaking was great. But your right CoD2 broken MP was better, I especially enjoyed how at launch in order to create a game it involved some trick with marble blast and the dashboard. Yeah that was much better than Matchmaking...............not.
... their "advantage" is called skill....zero9167I just thought it comes with the territory. Of course people playing fps games seriously, let alone the prequel to the next release, will more likely to get used to the new enviornments faster to someone who perhaps...never plays games at all. This is all just theorizing, anyway.
