If you asked this in 2008 i would say gears2, but right now im having fun playing it online. Im going to say Farcry2, i love the sp but totally hate the mp.

Yup, thats the right answer. Why online was ever included, I have no idea. First game that came to mind. Some games just love to toss it in because its a fad. I have no idea why because it only hinders the single player development.
G.R.A.W 1 and 2. The campaign was absolutely amazing in those games but the multiplayer has serious spawn killing and "camping problems".

Yes yes yes (so much camping should've brought a tent and a picknic basket) but, big butt. Co-op campaign is still awesome. I play GRAW2's co-op campaign till this day and will continue till Ghost Recon 4...
Without a doubt The Darkness came to mind right away. Fantastic singleplayer game with an excellent story but it easily has one of the worst online multiplayer game to date.
The one thing I didn't like about that game. Other than that I love that game. Yes good single player if only the lag wasn't so horrible they had good ideas for mp though
