I 100% disagree with you on Gears of War one. That game was meant to be played by hardcore gamers. That's why they made Gears of War 2 so casual gamer friendly, and because of that it sucked. Gears of War 2 multiplayer was laggy, unbalanced, and at times random. It completely favored casual gamer tactics over anything else. Every single patch ruined everything to make it easier for new players to get easy kills. It was by far the biggest disappointment in terms of multiplayerI have ever witnessed.. I was a huge Gears of War fan until they completely ruined the game so that their profits would be larger.
hmm, I haven't really played a bad multiplyer mode before. but Firefight is ALWAYS laggy!!! if EVERYONE doesn't have an extremely good connection, you're all screwed. it's beyond annoying :P
I agree with you about gears of war. It is really too bad because the story and the gameplay was so great. I hate waiting 10-20 minutes to find a game online.
This game is by far the worst game I have ever played. It's not like Gears 2 MP bad or ODST Firefight bad, because they're fundamentally good games but they're just as laggy as lots of brownstuff. This game is horrible! I mean, beyond horrible! It's horrifically bad. The single player is buggy and unforgiving even on easy difficultys. I found 1 player online, and he was from Iraq! The only good thing about the entire experience was a funny achievement where you had to kill someone who was on the toilet, but that was put down by the fact it was scripted into the game so you couldn't freaking miss it! This game doesn't deserve a score, or any more words from my mouth.
Deadly Towers for NES and ET for Atari 2600 On 360, out of games I bought it'd be Onechanbara, and if you include demos then it'd be Double D Dodgeball
Worst game is Fable II.. everything about it is garbage. Worst gametype is firefight.. it's easy, repetitive, will randomly disconnect, boring, doesn't end etc.
i would have to put in the new prince of persia up for this one. utterly repetitive and disappointing. i was looking forward to this and was severely depressed a few hours into it

Splinter Cell Double Agents multiplayer is beyond horrible. It's not even slightly fun with either class.

well yeah if you play it NOW...when that came out it was sweet- now its probably terrible How could that **** be sweet? One class without a weapon that does nothing but hide and another class with unlimited ammo that just sits there bored all day. Easily the dullest multiplayer I have ever played.
You make me sick! ^ditto :|. in any case the worst game as of late would have to be gears2. it was enjoyable for a bit but the lag/lag switching, waiting to be in a match, host adv. made the game much less fun. i would rather put up with tanks and ppl being under the map in HC TDM in W@W. and that is second on my hated list :/ (tho thats fixed now i believe).

You clearly were terrible at the game, then, if you were bored. Either that, or have never played it, because hiding is the basic concept of the series. People played it I assume because they enjoyed it, not because it was easily the dullest multiplayer they have ever played. I bought the game a year and a half after it came out, and there were still tons online.
