Worth buying Bioshock?

So, i was wondering if it was worth spending money on Bioshock when it comes out, possibly the limited edition with the awesome figure. Negative/positive arguments would be good...thx in advance

Negetives? It hasn't been released yet so it could still flop...HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt it tho. It's been reviewed twice, getting a 10 and 9.5.

Positives? How much time do you have? lol Lets see...it's the spiritual successor to one of the greatest games ever made (System Shock2), it's supposed to be a minimum of 30 hours long, stunning AI, weapon customization, amazing graphics, mindblowing physics, novel-like story, multiple ways to handle almost every situation...i could go on for days.

The lowest review so far (Out of 4 I believe) for the 360 is 100/100.

I already pre-ordered and paid in full for my limited edition of Bioshock...it will be my first ever purchase of a limited edition. To me you get so much for your extra money and this is a game I've been waiting for, what seems like forever. The fact that it's coming out in about 2 weeks completely blows my mind...AFS-Marc

I find the Halo 3 Legendary edition funny...It's just me though. I'll never understand the infatuation with Halo...I also may be confused, but I swear that I remember when the Legendary edition was first announced that it was only $99...I don't know though...

It doesn't matter to me...I won't even be paying the $60 for the regular version...hmmm...I wonder if the publishing companies will start making Core/Pro/Elite versions of all their games. One for each system!...It makes perfect sense. I am a genius!!!...and in case anyone is wondering...I am, in fact, being sarcastic

Anyway, I say go for it. If you want all that extra stuff, then buy the collectors or whatever, but I'm just going to get the regular edition. I've never bought a collectors/limited edition of a game and I'm never going to unless it comes with game content.

I'm getting this game, it looks cool.

Does anyone know anything about the live aspect of the game, I mean, will it have a multiplayer mode or just a ranking mode like cndemned??
