This is my setup:

I plan on setting the 360 vertical.

The table it's on is not a 100% stable but I'm not moving it when the 360 is on, can minor movements damage discs?

Notice the big ass subwoofer from my surround set. Could it's vibrations when I chainsaw someone in Gears cause the 360 to scratch discs?

Sorry for another one of those vertical/horizontal topics.

yes it will scratch discs in that postion on an unstable surface. when i first set mine up i left the HD cords out coz i dont have an HDTV but one was under the 360, but only a little. and it scratched discs. so having it hoz is better

Darn, I wanted to pile my games next to it, well I guess I continue laying them on top of the box then.

In a magazine I read, they said that vibrations from a sub woofer next to a PC could (not guranteed) damage the hard drive. Its your own risk.
