Would you buy a remake of Goldeneye?

Since Microsoft now owns Rare, this seems like it would be a smart move by them. In addition to the poll, discuss what you'd like to see in a remake, besides the obvious: upgraded graphics, etc.

Of course, I believe it would have to stay true to the original.. the levels were perfectly made in my opinion.

id like to see an updated version with new graphics and sound along with hd support and some better controls because c-buttons suck as an analogue stick... but it wont happen so no i guess i wouldnt buy a remake because if im not mistaken EA has the rights to it and the only EA games i like is burnout and black... though i do want Army of Two which better not suck

LICENSE!. I just posted about this on the DS boards. Neither Microsoft or Rare have the rights to make a Bond game. Not going to happen. Let it go. Please...nosedive51

Exactly... not to mention that MS owns the bulk of Rare's stock, but that doesn't officially make them owners. It just gives them the perks of ownership without the responsibilities. Brilliant move, really. They should gobble up all of Apple's stock. I hate that company.

Anyway, I said yes, but I'd much rather they release GoldenEye on XBLA with online multiplayer. Of course, you all understand that this game would be expensive to get over the licensing hurdles, right? Are you all prepared to have to listen to, "WTFBBQZOMV! It's teh expensave, M$ suXxXorzororz!" all the time? It's not going to happen and it's better to just move on.

YES! I would camp oyt for days and to Ige777. Go now and buy a N64 and play goldeneye. One of the best shooter ever IMO.AA7
