Would You Buy GH4 If It Was Only Clas*s*ic Songs?

Depends on which songs they are they need to put more good classic songs in the next one GH3 had classic songs but a lot of them weren't good I say they need more...

And newer songs, the last game had a few good classics, but most weren't too good.

99% of music today is horrible. Very few any good bands around anymore and most would never make it on a game like GH, so ya I would definetly prefere a game full of cla$$ic songs than the crap that passes for rock music these days.

No, because GHs view on what 'Classic' songs mean will invariably differ from the individual customer. I want Guitar Hero: Metal Edition; mainly because I am sick of bands like Weezer and that sort of thing and Indie bands being in a game series that obstensively is all about the Guitars, and as such, you'd think classic Rock and Metal would be perfect.

However for GH3 they compile (IMO) the weakest setlist yet, and alot to do with it was the inclusion of bands you'd not associate with guitar music.

GH is catering for the very mainstream market, and as such, I can't see myself buying another of their products, mainly because when it comes to Music, mainstream mediocrity pisses me off.

A Guitar Hero classic edition would invariably suffer the same fate as the main titles- namely catering for the mainstream and for the most part ignoring fans of the genre.
