Would you buy UT3 if it had mouse/keyboard support?

I just read on the PS3 forum that UT3 for them has mouse/keyboard support

I dont know if the 360 version will have keyboard/mouse support but if it does I'm thinking of skipping it on my shopping list.

I was a HUGE fan of Unreal Championships on the original xbox and one thing that made me fall in love is the leveling of the playing field. This is essentially why I even got a console in the first place.

I knew the other guy on the end of the gun had the same hardware/controller/(relatively the same internet). So if i died, it would be because of skill not because he has a better computer/mouse/keyboard. Now, with mouse/keyboard support, its going to basically tell everyone to use mouse/keyboard and we're back to square one. Someone is going to buy a 150$ billion DPI laser mouse and have macros set up for their keyboard that will discourage new players to the game.

Am I the only one who feels this way?

You can choose to allow people with m+kb or not. Its not an issue.

When you say allow people, do you mean when you host a game? or will there be an option when searching for games?

When hosting you can set if you want to allow, but you can also set filters to check etc for that stuff. UT3 on the PS3 is just the PC version with motion support all the way down to the net code.

As long as MS allows epic to go out of the LIVE standards all the same stuff should be in.
