like downloadable game but just a port of the xbox game,

If it's just a straight port, no. If it had somewhat better graphics, achievements, online MP, etc, etc, then yes.
saying yes only because: obviously my actual original xbox game will not support acheivments, but if they re release Halo 2 with newer graphics & acheivments, I will eventually get it just like Halo CE. sigh I was hoping a couple years back (my 3rd game for 360 was Halo 2 that I bought) to downlaod the dlc (multiplayer maps) using old xbox live connect for Halo 2 before it went down.
**** that. Bring it and CE to the Reach engine and max that thing out and I'll pay full price for each one.
no. i still have my original xbox. i dont need to pay too much $ for a game i already have. and whats up with the last poll option:
"yes if the price was higher" ?? dont you mean "yes, if the price was lower"?????
Halo 2's multiplayer >>>>>>>> any other Halo's multiplayer. If they brought that back with the remake, and updated it technically, I would get it for sure.
Halo 2's campaign wasn't bad at all. 10x better than Reach's uninspired campaign, and better than Halo 3's. Halo 3 felt like a chore to get through. I don't know if I liked 2's campaign more than CE's though.
Yes if it has online MP and 'cheevies. If not, only on deal of the week or less.

Don't see why it wouldn't. Halo 2 has always had Live support and the PC version has acheivements.

They stopped supporting XBL for original Xbox games back a while ago... and while I do have a gaming PC there's no way i'll ever play Halo 2 on it.[QUOTE="Phoenix534"][QUOTE="realguitarhero5"]

Im not a fan of piracy protection on PC games. And I dunno. Halo is the reason I got an Xbox. Halo 2 on PC just sounds weird.[QUOTE="Phoenix534"][QUOTE="realguitarhero5"]They stopped supporting XBL for original Xbox games back a while ago... and while I do have a gaming PC there's no way i'll ever play Halo 2 on it.realguitarhero5

Why are you against piracy protection?Product keys, authentication, etc especially on GFWL. There has to be a better way. I only see a problem with those things if you were using a pirate copy. If you've got a CD key, it doesn't take two minutes to enter it. I use GFWL with a few of my PC games. I've got no problems with the system. In fact, I wish more games would use it.[QUOTE="x-2tha-z"][QUOTE="realguitarhero5"]Im not a fan of piracy protection on PC games. And I dunno. Halo is the reason I got an Xbox. Steam is the better way.
It actually shocks me how many here say it is the worst of the series....The casual community honestly likes Halo3 and Reach better than Halo2?? this baffles me...ANYWAY
I would buy an arcade realese of Halo2 at almost any price as long the online mp came back...Hopefully then MLG and gamebattles would bring it back for online competition so no one had to play the steaming pile that is Reach
