Yeah, I would still like Gears if it was 1st Person. As long as it went to 3rd Person when you hit cover.

Too many FPS on xbox. Just leave it 3rd person so the xbox can at least have some variety.

Probably not...Gears is good (or atleast average for some people) because it's not the same type of game they played 5 minutes ago.

If it was 1st person, Gears wouldn't be Gears; leave that to Killzone 2.

that would be odd, but what makes Gears different is the amount of detail on you. In first person you be happy to see your feat. Also I think in third person you get a stronger story from the the charter.

Try taking cover in 1st person. But BlindFire will be really Realistic :P

No, in 3rd you get a better and bigger view than 1st, and gears is all about the view.

No. Gears if Gears because of the perspective. And there are awesome scripted moments that can only be done in that perspective.

it wouldn't work, GOW is not a typical shooter, it would need a radar & compass when you dive & taking cover

Probably not... it would feel weird as I am used to third-person for Gears. Sure, I would still like it but not as much.
