Bioshock was a awsome game, but from a game take takes place in a city you dont get to explore much of it. Would you like to see the sequel to be sandbox where you can explore the entire city freely. YOu dont have to steal cars or any thing so it wont be like GTA but you can go into many buildings and will have to back track sometimes. IT will still be a FPS and will play exactly the same but the story line will be a lot less liner and the city wil be a lot bigger.

it should be non-linear, but making it sandbox would be pushing it.

The best thing about Bioshock was the setting, an underwater city slowly eating itself away from the inside out. I think a prequel would be a far more viable option than a direct sequel, especially with the different endings available. Only problem with a prequel is you know how the game is going to end before you even start playing it...

Playing Bioshock alone, on a big screen hi-def tv, with all the lights in the house turned off at 2 in the morning has to be one of the best gaming experiences ever. The atmosphere is amazing.

Ya open world but not so much sandbox. It could be a prequel about the fall of Rapture and all the resistance and crazy plasmid civil wars. The story could be linked to the first one and clear alot of stuff up but most of it could be about some awsome story that was sort of unknown and not mentioned in the first game. Maybe some conspireacy behind the fall of Rapture or how Andrew Ryan and Frank Fontain competed

How about metroid style, where there is a lot of back tracking but the world it self is big and full of secretes

I would like it to stay the way the first title was. I'd always have this feeling of missing something if it was made more of a sad-box game. And in my opinion the first game did a fantastic job of showing you different parts of the cities.
