I'm not going to ask where you live (I can understand if you'd rather not say), but I was just curious -- you're asking people if they would still game if they had to live under the conditions you live under, and yet you're asking this on a gaming forum. May I ask what games you do play?An xbox 360, model PRO costed 800,00 american dollars, a game 100,00 , and the minimum wage was around 1,50 ?

Not exactly like that because currency exchange value changes every day, but it floats around those values =) If you import them it's probably even more expensive due import taxes...Lol you live in Brazil right? Ya I dont think its that high for those items, even if you import them and the minmum wage must be higher then that :P

My guess is, please do not be offended, that you are apart of Brazil's upper class? Do you plan on getting the UFC game? lolLol you live in Brazil right? I would move to china, get a job working in manufacturing of the machines, gradually steal the parts to make one over time and build my own.
Or kidnap a panda and hold it hostage for a 360.
No, I probably wouldn't. I don't have any hobbies with an entry price point of $80,000. Military officers aren't that well paid.
Nah i'd master ball in the cup.
craigalan23
It's okay if you drop the ball, because the ball is connected to a string which is attached to the cup.

I'm a student and live with my parents so I don't have much to spend my money with things other than a date, or something I may occasionaly need, so my money was mostly for gaming. If I remember correctly, took me almost a year to pay it.Lol you live in Brazil right? Do people think that he is saying it costs 80,000 dollars for a console?

porky_ownsu
Minimum wage is $1.50.. Games cost $100 and the system costs $800.
it would proably be what i saved up after i spent what i needed on necessities. gaming is my only hobby, so the only other thing i would have other than that is glaring at a picture of my leader and thinking angry thoughts at whoever's fault it is that our economy is bad enough that things are that expensive.
of course you have to wonder if a place that bad off even has easily accessed electricity to play the games. if it costs to much for electricity that it takes up your entire budget, then you can't but games anyway.
Um how is that? Before comma, dollars -> 800,00Hell no! Also you misplaced the commas in your numbers.
Dawq902
Actually, the commas are correctly placed. Sort of. Several countries outside of the United States don't use the X,XXX.XX style of rendering numbers. They use something closer to X XXX,XX , if I'm not mistaken.Hell no! Also you misplaced the commas in your numbers.

If I remember correctly, took me almost a year to pay it. You may not be rich but your family has more money than most. I see Call of Duty, Resident 5, Left 4 Dead, and Gears 2... There's a lot of people I I know that can only afford a few games a year. You just bought 2 new games in less than 5 months. If the prices are how you say, you are at the very least in the upper middle class. Everybody else said they wouldn't be gaming, you're the only one who would. I know I definitely would not be...
I wish you people would stop with this. Does it really matter? Is he being graded?? Everybody understood what he meant... Do you do this to your friends when they mispell a word or make a grammatical error in a text message that they sent to you? Do you even have friends that send you text msgs??Hell no! Also you misplaced the commas in your numbers.
Dawq902
No i wouldnt still play games, i love video games (that sounds super nerdy) but me and my families nessecities come first before i ever think of playing vidoes games int those conditions you mentioned.
Best bet would be to get a friend who travels a lot to buy games for you in different countries I suppose.mark1982Remember that consoles and games have region locks.

Most of my games are used and stuff, so I get them cheaper :p
But now I'll stay for a few months without buying anything because of the world wide bad economy... (gotta get a new job damn it)
And yep, I guess I'm middle high class :p
Also thanks for backing me up, I speak English well enough but I've never seen anyone write money that way... before the comma, dollars. After comma, cents.
If I were to write eighty thousand dollars, I'd write 80 000,00 or 80.000,00 or simply 80000,00
