wow 360 support is absolutely horrible

ive waited 30 minutes to get one rep on the line, and theni couldnt hear them and said can u speak up. and they hang up. then the second rep i call, they just hang up when i start talking. i tried 2 diff phones (cell and landline). wtf is up.

Just caught some bad employees. The couple times I've called a while back, the people were helpful.

yeah. but IS IT TRUE that MS has increased the time they return 360s to 25 days from 15? that would succk

No doubt the return time will probably go up since there are now more than 11,000,000 360s out there and they extended all warranties to 3 years. As soon as anyone's console craps out, they'll have no hesitation to send it in for repairs since it's free. What do you expect? Be thankful for that warranty extension. At least you aren't paying $170 or whatever it was. I went through the motions back in February of 2006 with my launch console, and thankfully at that time, it took exactly 8 days from the time my console actually crashed and the time UPS dropped off my replacement. Free. I know things are more hectic now, but just be patient.

That's probably why I still have a good taste in my mouth about MS support. But jus because I had such a rosey experience, I don't deny that people have had bad experiences. Not to give you a feeling of impending doom, but someone in this forum once said that when he sent in his 360 there was some mixup and they lost his console. Probably some idiot employee. Then it finally took more than 3 months to get everything straightened out and get his replacement. And this is when you still had to pay the fee. Needless to say, he jumped the 360 ship. But that was an extreme case.

Yeah, they're being retarded about fixing mine because it's a refurb. I gguess that's what I get for trying to save a few bucks but still.

Edit: the guy I talked to was nice enough though, even if it took 30 minutes to get to him.

Right now everybody's calling in MS to get their consoles repaired/money refunded from the previously uncovered repairs. After the initial wave is over things should be back to normal again. Since the extended warranty only covers the RRoD there shouldn't be a higher volume of repairs than before since people still have to pay if the 360 breaks due to any other reason.

The first time I called was because my Cables werent working. The guy ignore my warrenty question and kept asking me if I had them pluged in right or if I had another Cable or if my freind had one...it was bull****.

I hate calling them ppl. They dont know ****...they looks up**** on the computer and then tell you. I can do that myself.
