Wow. Did anyone else read this?

The rumor on the new Xbox Experience? A random guy on VG Chartz posted these rumors about the release date and a bunch of features.

Thoughts?

Considering it says they're going to begin all the updating and whatnot on the 25th of September I guess we don't have to wait long to find out. My opinion though:

Garbage. Don't get your hopes up.

That's what I thought. Although I looked on G4 TV.com and Septembe 25th at that time has a Cops block (which is unusual for that time) and this show called Freaky which I've never seen/heard of.

I would love it if it was true but more than likely its not.

It has too many good things, especially free xbox originals, come on we are talking MS here.

G4 already dismissed, but I see two reasons that make this seem more plausible:
1. the Bungie Halo announcement was delayed
2. after the price drop, and a relaunch, Microsoft would be in the perfect position to dominate the fall season

Xbl would'nt be able to cope. uploading the new interface and then the promotional streaming and dlc content all on the 25th.

At a guess the interface would change on the 25th nov, xbox 360 release anniversary.

Giving away 6 Xbox Original games? Thats where this story starts to fall apart for me. First, it took Live to get all screwed up for weeks before MS would give away a free Arcade title, and even that was only for 24 hours. Now we're supposed to believe they're giving away titles that they're already overcharging for? Including 3 that aren't even on the list yet? Come on. DZBricktop

I can only find Ninja Gaiden: Black in stores for $25+.

Dunno. May be a surprise event. Crazier things have happened before. I mean, all of a sudden at 4:30 on whatever show is on at that time they finally announce it. Sorta like a last-minute thing.

Or maybe Microsoft hasn't bought the time yet. Who knows?

I believe this goes by the old saying "Too good to be true"

Hopefully some of it is real though
