Wow... Well that's annoying.

Just took the shrinkwrap and seal off of my new copy of Left 4 Dead, and there was no disk inside. This was a new copy, not used, and the seal was intact. Ever happened to anybody else?

No idea how im going to persuade the guys in the shop in to giving me a refund. :P

Waw man thats crazy, the store you got it from will deff not give you a new one but still give it a try. Then call mycrosoft and go nutz until they do somthing.AK47wut

I dont think microsoft will do anything about it because once a store buys a game or games its their responsibility. some little pooner probrably opened it and took the game then tried to seal it back up. sorry to hear about that.

Wow, that's a kick in the balls. I hope your game store fixes it for you.

Man, that sucks. One time I went to buy Doom3: Ressurection of Evil, and I could only find a used copy. I bought it and happily left the store. I drove all the way home(about 20 miles away). I opened the case and looked and it was just the regular edition of Doom3.

It's interesting you mention this. I bought Resurrection of Evil for PC, and while it had the disc, the manual did not have the CD key in it, making it un-installable.

I wish you luck. Just get them to see that it is possible that the disk did not get put in at the factory. Get them to see it from your perspective - you go to get a game and it is not in there now you have to convince them that it was never there.

You will probably have to give them your name and such so they feel comfortable you will not try the "same thing" again. I just hope you bought it from a big name store like Walmart or your screwed.

yeah lol waayyy back before i got a 360 i played PS2 and devil may cry 3 just came out and i went and bought a copy at Walmart, i love to open my games fast so when i got back to my car i opened it and there was a blank disc lol...i went back to walmart and showed them and they replaced it on the spot and made me open it in front of them so i didnt get another fake disc :DBlkmamba33

Something like this happened to me at Toys R Us with Bioshock when it first came out. I purchased a copy and when I got home and opened it, there was a blank CD-R in the case instead of the game. They looked at me like I was nuts when I took it back so I told them I wanted the next copy opened to make sure the game was inside. They opened 3 more copies and each had a blank CD-R. The 4th had the actual game.

I guess people are getting really good at opening the games and resealing them.

you know what it might actually be valves problem. there should be a number inside the manual.alot of the times there is aprocessing number for that unit and they might be able to trace it. the machine or person that put the game in could have made a mistake
