Yeah, there is too much money to be lost by coming up with an original idea and giving the damn series a break. If everyone would just lost interest for a year they would have to go back to the drawing board.
I love the series, especially the original Modern Warfare, but most of what they have done in the last few installments they could have done through expansions on to MW2 and Black OPs.

That's what the devs CLAIM they are doing, I guess time will tell.

Me too...but just like alot of people have said....COD has become the Madden of shooters!!!
If they would just let the series rest for a year I would actually be interested, but until then...Boycott!

Why boycott? Just wait three months until it drops in price. Halo 4 and Black Ops 2 are already $16 and $28.99 on Amazon and those were Xmas 2012 games.

If the sales took a harsh drop they might actually think of some new ideas and take a year off. I have no problem paying for a game, but I'm just sick of paying for the same crap they keep releasing.
After Modern Warfare 3, that was the last straw. I didn't buy Black Ops II, and I don't plan on getting this unless the graphics are much better, the gameplay is actually fresh, and they have a good story.
Well. I wouldn't mind a new COD, as long as it is actually good. I was disappointed with MW2 and MW3, and since that the makers of those games are going to make COD Ghosts, I might be disappointed in that game, too. BUT it didn't come out yet, so I will just wait.

Yeah right. "New" means nothing when pertaining to the CoD series. I'll be getting Battlefield 4 and CoD can release three more games in the time it takes for me to stop playing it. "
Though the cod games are feeling a bit dated and not as fun to play as when they originally started, i know i will find myself putting a deposit down and getting it on the day of release.... the devil on my shoulder will never let me stop buying them!
