I got that the first time I popped Halo 2 into my 360, after I restarted it never happened again.

I also got problems with COD2, cause I bought it used. The game wasn't scratched, but a really tiny piece was torn apart, so from time to time the console would recognize it as a dvd, but everything was fine when I restarted. I could finish the game and play some MP with no further probs.

I rented Fight Night Round 3, get home, put it in and it tells me to put it in a 360. I was like No effen way. Turn it off, turn it on, and it worked. Big sigh of relief.

I have had this once since I got my 360 and I think it was on CoD2 as well. I turned it off and back on and it loaded and I've had no problems since.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. Restarting the 360 didn't work, but ejecting the disc and putting it back in did. I think it's just the disc because I was getting disc read errors before that. Hopefully I can still return the copy I have for another.
