WWE All Stars demo

I downloaded it and played it and hated it...worst fighting game ever...i was winning a fight then this guy i was fighting for some reason got infinate health and beat me, UNFAIR!!! what is your opinions

I haven't tried the demo yet, but I am really looking forward to it. I just bought Homefront so that is going to take away quite a bit of my money. I am definately getting WWE All Stars though too, but may be the week after or something... depends on how I feel with my money at that moment in time :P.Ashley_wwe

Downloading the demo as we speak, I hope I have a different take on it though..

Your negative response to the demo prompted me to download it myself and try it out...

I thought the demo was awesome. First of all, I love the graphics. Everything was spot on for a wrestling game. Everything looked awesome. The sounds were great too. I loved the wrestler's entrances and really enjoyed the commentary from the ring announcers.

The gameplay took me a few matches to get used to, but I figured it out pretty quickly and overall enjoyed its design. The game seems to be more about timing reversals and stringing combos together than just going out there and mashing buttons like most wrestling games are (used to be, haven't played one in a while). But I really enjoyed it. I lost my first two matches and then won my next 4. It just takes some getting used to. I had to learn how to kickout and how to make my pins more effective but after that it was cake. I really enjoyed the demo and will definitely be picking this up on release day next week. I can't wait to play with the rest of the roster.

I totally agree with this. I think that it is an excellent arcade style wrestling game.

Not really a big fan of wrestling games anyway.

its poor. the AI is likely going to be shoddy. the entrances are crappy. the controls are in all honesty smackdown vs raw but remapped. theres no different controls here just figuring what you knew on smackdown and trying to find the new button for the same command. sigs finishers pins running even changing grapple positions its all just finding a new button for it to make it look new. the espn quote in the extras section that it is a serious contender for fighter of the year is laughable. the AI seems to even on this default difficulty be able to spam the kick out button which is lame it is mash the joystick in either the right or left one repeatedly. the AI has found a hold down the block button cheap glitch which prevents it from getting knocked out and therefore recovers health forcing me to pin them. the one pro is there are two reverse buttons now. well i lie the super moves look cool the graphical style looks cool as well. honestly this game looks like it lacks depth. after its achievement hunted i dont think many are going back to the game once they realize its really really shallow. if you thought smackdown was lacking oh boy....this is smackdown minus about 100 modes and match types. my advice dont buy into the hype. its smackdown with remapped controls minus 100 modes and match types a smaller roster and super moves and we have ourselves a game.kayoticdreamz

lame...the camera messes up the fights by going behind your character so you cant see you oponant...and its controlls are ok but not great..Xbox360Gamer15
