Still lots of juice left. However the ever increasing size in games is starting to show as some publishers or devs whatever are struggling to fit everything on a DVD-9.

not even close. multicore just started, it's still in the begining stage. people are still learning. even if the hardware limit was reached (which not even that is close to happening) people would still be finding new and more efficent ways of programming.even on the same hardware the software will get better over time, and thats why a game that looks great today will look average at best in a few years. it's why there are handhelds that can do more than pcs could 15 years ago, and better than a mainfarme could 360 years ago. gears, as good as it looks, will look average in 2010. ai and algorythems get better every year. compression and streaming get better. everything gets better over time, it's called progress. the same principle is why you dont ride a horse to school.

The true power of the original Xbox was just starting to be used and then the 360 came out. Same thing will probably happen with the 360 and the next Xbox.

No not at it's limits. It is being utilized close to it's full capability in some areas - but still has quite a bit of head room left in others. We will still continue to see games get better and better - don't worry. :)

I think MS was in a hurry to beat everyone to the market when they launched the 360,and unfortunately they cut the xboxoff right as it was reaching its peak. Now that they are one year ahead of the competition, they can let the system run a normal full life cycle, and still launch the "next" xbox a year before their competitors.

That's essentially saying the PS3 was at it's limits with Motorstorm. We all know that isn't true.

I honestly believe that Gears of War has pushed the 360 very far perhaps at about %60 or more. I think these games can only go so far before there limited to as far as an artists mind can go. So I really think the 360 is reaching it's peak..the only thing we'll start to see are different types ofgames but with the same graphical power as Gears, I just don't see it really getting any better..perhaps gameplay wise theres something yet to be explored.

You know what think of it this way, you only have a small area in which to build you can't expand (Hence the limit) so what do you do? Build skyward? Thats right Dev and programers will always find a way to make the most use of the 360. Gears was great but I know they can improve!!!!!

Yea.Ever since The Chitlin Circuit I have been scrambling for more and more of their material. Easily one of my favorite rap groups. Can't wait for GetBack.

The Chitlin Circuit is excellent. The Minstrel Show is great too, I love them. It's hard to find good stuff like them these days, which is what makes them such a quality hip hop group. Too bad 9th Wonder left in January, hopefully he'll continue to produce for them, because his productions and their flows go so well together.

Gears 2 may prove that there's quite a bit left under the hood... 1st one may have stressed the gpu a bit but like mentioned still only used 1 core.... imagine a dedicated core to ai, and another to object physics... less stress on gpu... not to mention improved optimization of the game engine will almost certainly result in visual improvements ..maybe not a great leap but still noticably better.... hell im sure the Wii will produce games that look quite decent (even by 360 or PS3 standards) in the next few years. When games run like crap more often than not its not weak hardware or topped out hardware but rather crappy coding (Quake 4 on 360 comes to mind)...
