I went to change my windows live ID for my account and I noticed that my age had been deleted from the ID that I was using. does anyone know how this could have happened or what effects it might have on my ability to play live besides not being able to download some content? Please help I want to avoid calling x box support becuase I am sick of talking to people who have no Idea what my problem is even though I explained it very clearly.
Something is wrong with Live right now, a lot of people have reported connection issues. Some not being able to sign in and some like myself keep getting signed out with no reason every couple of minutes. I've noticed matchmaking being quite a bit slower than usual today also. I have no idea whats going on. This is usually how Live acts on Christmas actually haha.

Seriously just re-enter your birthday how hard is it to do that? Even without it you most likely have an adult account already so it wont hurt anything. You really couldn't figure this out on your own?
dude live is having loads of problems, thy are trying to get everything ready for this big dashboard update, and they are trying to do it while keeping xbox live online, I've been having LOADS OF PROBLEMS lately, getting signed off for no reason at all, online games freezing, I had a COD3 game the other night and it froze for about 20 minutes I left and when I cam back it was un-froze and a few of the people where still in the game, just sitting there, live is just doign a lot of wierd things, I hope this new update does't end up being a huge bug fest. I mean look at the RROD thing, I wouldn't be suprised if the new dashboard has loads of problems.
I haven't been able to join Xbox Live for more than 24 hours now, and this was my only work-free weekend in this month. Microsoft should pay us back with some gamer points or giving me my 24 hours of Live connection back, when my suscription ends.

I was playing the Left4Dead demo and I kept getting weird problems like I couldn't invite my friends or sometimes it said my friends weren't online when they were. Then my 360 would freeze sometimes after we played the demo as would my friend's 360. It's weird... what's going on?

Actually the weird thing is that i believe xbox released a huge update before christmas and people were having problems too. I really do hope that this does not turn out like a re do of last year

I for one agree with him. This is a paid service, stuff like this shouldn't be happening. And if there's no working around that, Microsoft should've at least warned us that something like this would happen. I'm in almost the same situation as him. I live on college campus so I can't play my 360 during the weekdays, only when I come home sometimes. Not to mention I'm usually packed with work from school so I barely have time. This is the one day I kinda have a little bit of free time and I log on to see that Live is having problems... just my luck.
I think MS owes it to the customers to uphold Live in great shape because people pay for it. Microsoft points would be a good tradeoff...
Well think of all the stuff that is coming up. A HUGE update comes out next week and christmas is just around the corner. Lets hope there preparign the servers for christmas so that they dont go down after the onslaught of new players.
I'm ok with LIVE being down, with the impending update its understandable. My annoyance stems from the fact that I am unable to connect whilst 20 of my friends are online. Why are some people getting screwed over whilst others are enjoying LIVE bliss?
