X1 launching on a Friday

Just noticed that November 22 is on a friday. This is great because if it was going to release on a Tuesday, as games usually do, there was no way in hell I was going to show up for work the next day.....or I would have showed up in a zombified state, with only 2 hours of sleep. The only downside is that it may be busier on a Friday, bigger lineups.... but still better than Tuesday. 

Funny enough November 22nd was the day 360 was also released.

But yeah, it's going to be one heck of a Friday of a new gen.

Friday is when most games are released in the UK so the friday that it comes out is going to be hectic but thats not a problem for me cause i pre ordered it online.

This is great news! I think I know what I'll be doing that weekend!

yup! already booked that day off from work. give me time to go pick up my games! i hope Amazon doesnt lag the delivery until 5-6. I better hear my door bell ring befor 12. lol

Same here, I took friday off and intend the spend the long weekend Next-Gen style. 

I love Friday releases.  Tuesdays, eck.  I'm too busy during the week so the excitement of a big release is sometimes lost on me because of it being early in the week and far from the weekend.

Personally I wish they would always release games (and movies) on Fridays.
