Because I have an ethernet cable and when I look to connect the other end to my cpu, the only ethernet port is taken up by my broadband internets ethernet cable.
Do I plug the other end into my CPU or broadband? (eitherway it will terminate the connection between broadband and cpu)
PS: Dont mind the topic title, but I used it to get a response where as topic titles like "need help" or "ethernet question" get no responses whatsoever

You can find a router fairly cheap now that has wireless access. You will have to buy a wireless network card for your 360 ($99 for the Microsoft XBOX 360 one) or run the ethernet cable from the router to your 360.

A router is used so you can share your internet connection to several computers at the same time (including the xbox 360 and other consoles).. And yes some routers supports wireless connection..
