You're doing better than me. I try and sign in, it runs, seems like it's in, and then wham, it just gives me the original screen, with the option to sign in.
The thing I don't understand is... Why is it that I can't play my Xbox 1 games while XBL is down? Every time I try to start up NFL 2k5 it **** about an update that it already has installed and wants to download it again. But because XBL is down, I can't get it, and thus it refuses to let me play the game already.
Live still sort of works for me, but its intermittent connections that only work while I'm running a game. As soon as I hit the Dash, I'm instantly logged out.

Question, are you able to get into a match whilst running a game? Because I REALLY want to play me some CoD4 and I've been having problems with it.
yeah ever since i got CoD4 and when I had my account (currently can't get it recovered) it was taking forever to load a game if one would load at all.aktuxman13
Don't worry, it's not the game. Well, it sort of is; that game is specifically taking a while and messing up, not because of IW or the game itself, but because it is probably one of the most played games on Live (I know that it is for me and my friends, we can't touch Halo anymore) and because of that the servers are being over run. I'm sure they have a small army of techies sprinting to the servers as we speak, attempting to fix them up. How funny would it be if they had actually managed to melt from so much traffic? xDD

This is the first time XBL has ever had a real issue with not being able to play, so there's really no need to complain so greatly. Hell, from what I hear, you can play, just that the Dashboard is fvcked.
Besides, if you never play XBL, why are you paying 50 dollars a year for it? :/
Okay, I can't sign in on the dashboard, but it says I'm connected in Halo 3. Then I go to matchmaking and it says "information cannot be retrieved from Xbox Live." Then eventually that goes away and says "matchmaking ready" or something like that. I select it, then eventually the player slots say "player found." As soon as every slot is filled, I get a window that says "restarting search." Is this part of the problem that everyone is having, or is this something else?
