xbl messed up?

yesterday i was playing mw2 online and it quit me out of a match, then a notice came up saying something similar to when your live runs out in mid game (if you know what i mean) says something like "you must have gold to play this" so i signed out then signed back in and it wouldn't let me connect to live, then i signed in again and it worked, i know my live is fine until august so it didn't run out, but has anyone else had this happen?

maybe server problems, i am sure its only for a while
