XBLA Games Question, Unlock Full Game

If i get the trial version of a game, when it says unlock full game, does that give me the full game straight away after i purchase it, or do i have to download the whole game again?

Most of them download the whole thing when you do the trial so they will just unlock and you won't have to wait for it to download again. I have come across a couple though that do redownload but those are few and far between.
