My 360 console is not reading any games, no matter how new/clean they are. It makes an odd noise and then just says 'open tray' where it would normally say 'play game'. Should I just call support?

You got a bad drive man, and it should be covered under the 1 year warrenty, if you had your console over that 1 year mark then you may have to pay Microsoft $100 or so to repair it.
Yeah like everyone else has stated the disc drive is out. I've been seeing more of these going bad here lately, 2 of my friends have done the same & I as the feller in here said I also had a replacement console's drive go out as well last year.
My sympathies for your broken console. However, there is a stickied thread for "broken 360" type discussion. Please feel free to repost your comment in the RRoD thread. Thanks!
