Hi guys, i was wondering if the madcatz conversion kit is just as good or better than a newer model that has a hdmi port built in. Right now im using component cables and the picture is crap, so i need help choosing.

read some reviews on it. said it worked great on games but it didn't upscale dvds' like it claimed to.

a little off topic, but how do you get audio with the component cable on HD? I just cant get it to work?

If I used the HDMI port, would i still have to use the compontent cable, or does sound and video all go through the HDMI cable?
