Hey, I think my disc tray has a slight problem. Sometimes when i select the auto-open feature on the dashboard, the disctray begins to open, then stops, and i need to push it lightly, and then it opens. Does Anyone know whats happening here? Please Help, i dont think is a huge problem, but its an iconvenience.

When I first got the 360, my disk tray wouldn't open when there was no disk inside. I had to manually open it with paper clips, or be lucky if it opens by itself. It was only an inconvenience at the time, I jsut kept a game in there at all time. 1.5 years later, my disk drive scratches disks, dies out all the time, system freezes, etc. I have to pay 100 bucks to get it fixed because the warranty is over, so much for the inconvenience. Just get it fixed while you can (if it is still under the 1 year warranty)

it's obviously a problem with your disk tray, I think the old dvddrives may cause more problems. You can check what drive your 360 has here: http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/Xbox_360_DVD_Drive_Comparison.htm

3 year warranty is for RRoD, not disk tray issues. Nobody has had an Xbox 360 for 3 years yet, not even Billy.
