Xbox 360 Elite Fall 09 is Jasper...at least at my Best Buy

I just returned from BestBuy, and confirmed that the new Fall 09 Elites are indeed Jaspers, production date 7/10/09 (only checked 3 units). I did peel back the cardboard on one of the units to confirm the 12V -12,1A power but couldn't do them all obviously, without getting kicked out of the store :). I took pics with my cell, but they came out terrible so I won't post em. Right now, Amazon is giving away a free year of live goldwith the purchase of the new Elite (until Sept 1st), so I'm probably going to take my chances and order a Fall 09 bundle online. Has anyone else confirmed Fall 09 Jaspers? Better yet, Has anyone found Falcons in the Fall 09's yet?

you can turn an arcade 360 into an elite but its the same price as buying a new elite. if my 360 red rings (needs to have 3 blinking red lights not one non blinking) i will get a used 360 and use the parts from the older one and keep the stuff that came with as extras.

please reply when you get your 360 from amazon. i'm ordering one from there too (for the free LIVE of course) but I REALLY hope it's a jasper...I2_e_M_ii_X

if its an elite and the box is white you will know its a Jasper. or once you open it and the power supply is 150 watts as well it will run quite unlike the monster sound that came from older xbox units. If its not a Jasper its not worth having becuase it will break even the one year free live is not worth it goyslayer

I'm going to decide tonight whether or not I'm taking on the amazon deal and getting the free year of live (gold). It's really tempting, but I'm afraid a better deal (bundle) will be announced at the TGS....I mean, just look at the cover of the new box, it's just screaming pack-ins!
