Well the elite launched few days ago with limited quantities. I got mine this morning at Target there was a line of about 20 people but 16 of them were for a shipment of Wiis and I was one of the 4 waiting for the elite and guess what? They had exactly 4 360 elites. What luck. Anyone else go out to get an elite?
People are lining up to buy a system they most likely already own!? :lol: Microsoft wins!! Seriously though, I only plan on getting an Elite after I have a Wii and PS3. Since I already own a 360, it not that big of a deal to me. Congrats on getting yours though.
For someone just getting a 360, I think that's the way to go... but I don't think I'd drop the extra cash for one. My hard drive isn't even close to being filled up, so I don't think I'd buy the expanded hard drive either.
Well, considering you've got your's now, is the Elite just as noisy as the regular though?
I went into Best Buy yesterday looking for something else and noticed a few of them on the shelves. That made me happy since I'm going to be buying one on Monday.
Nope. i wont be geting one since i dont ahve a hdtv.plus i dont need the hdmi port and i think the white looks better (imo) but i will be geting the 120gb hdd. just bc i think my hdd is about ti quit and it would be nice to have the extra room

Congrats! Is this your first 360? I picked one up this Sunday aswell in the afternoon at Target. I think there was a line early in the morning, but when I got there, it was just me. The guy I asked to get it for me didn't even know they had the Elite there. He was like, "oh snap, we have these!?!." And since you got it at Target Did you get any warranty? I tried to ask for one, but they didn't know what were they doing, so I didn't end up with one.
the last system i owned was a playstation2 and i have a hdmi 32inch and wanted to put it too more use and the xbox360 looks awesome and have some great games. i was about to buy the premium, but noticed the elite was coming out on the 29th, so on the 29th i placed my order for over-night shipping and my status at best buy online hasn't changed hmm. i see they are all sold out too, that was quick. hope i get mine soon.
