Xbox 360 for christmas

so im wanting a 360 for christmas, i hear of alot of ppl getting Red Ring Of Death and i really dont want that. My PS3 Got the YLOD so i said screw sony. when i get my xbox what can i do to prevent the RROD?

im also planing on buying a 360 and i was wondering if their is any other news of a 360 bundle other then the lego batman im hoping they bring back the xbox elite halo3 and fable 2 bundle again this year
