Xbox 360 freezing when playing demos and xbla also gears of war 2 problems

Since Tuesday I have not been able to get in any games on Gears of war 2 except hoard mode map pack games, I have tried every play list it finds players for my team, as soon as it looks for the other time it takes a very long time, before Tuesday I would get into matches very quick, its now as bad as it was months ago.

On Wednesday I downloaded the Bionic Commando Demo for a while it worked great then twice in a very short time the console froze, I then went to download Uno Rush this also froze twice, but this doesn't happen on Halo 3 nore Resident evil 5, I rearly want to carry on ranking up I'm currently a level 21.

My NAT is open as I did a network test and didn't come up with any messages saying it was anything but open, I have a 4mb connection, on an official wireless adaptor with three to four bars of signal on the console (max is four so thats not the problem)
I would get a new hard drive but this is a Halo edition hard drive that goes with the console, but is it even the hard drive? this only happened after they made changes to stop rank 100 cheaters, yet I'm not one of them, I have played against a few but I am not one of those people.

I have also done the clear cache xx lb rb xx as well still the same.

Don't mention the obvious three red lights or red ring of death, I know about those, but its not a problem in normal disc games, only problem is it seems to be causing Gears of war 2 to take a long time to get into a match.

Gears 2 is like that sometimes, usually you can get a game in minutes. but every now and then it takes ages. If it takes say 5+ minutes, just back out and re-search.

And I think the Bionic Commando demo is buggy, every time I get in to a match, my 360 freezes. Same thing happens to 2 of my friends.

For a long time its allways been quick to get me into games but since tuesday even after 20 minutes still no game.

I don't think it has anything to do with your 360. Gears 2 did that with me as well a few weeks ago then it went back to normal. And I've heard other people complaining about Bionic Commando demo freezing.

Mine froze twice yesterday trying to play the Battlestations Pacific demo
