When I turned on my X360 today, I received the message: "In accordance with Xbox LIVE policy, the gamertag Sputnik 006 is no longer allowed. Please change your gamertag before playing on Xbox LIVE."
I am extremely attached to 'Sputnik', and I want to continue playing under that name.
Was I reported for having an offensive gamertag, or was it a system-wide ban on certain key words?
Hell, why is my name even offensive!??!?!
I contacted Microsoft E-mail support and explained my problem. They have not replied yet.
Anyways, I thought this would be a good topic of interest to note.
