The 65nm Models are already on store shelves & halo edition ones are 65nm as well, I myself just bought an arcade 360 & it's the 65nm model, runs much cooler ( it gets warm but not hot)

Where do you find out such information? Is there an official source or is it all here-say? The reason I ask is because I own a Halo 360, but it was made in July. I'm not sure if it has the falcon chip (probably not).

I have it also. The units that have the HDMI ports on them have it. That is not including the Elite when it was launched. I have the Premium systems with HDMI and they have the falcon chip. i ask xbox customer serivce. They told me the new chip went into production early as august of this year. My systems where build the 12th os september of 07

Not all Halo editions are using falcon and not all new premiums are using falcon. If you want a better chance at finding one check this thread out.

I was told by a friend who works for microsoft that when you buy a XB360 check the lot# thats on the box, it should say 0735 or 0736 (thats my lot#) so basically anything with the lot# 0735 or 0736 or above has the 65nm chip. If you have a HDD already i recommend the XB 360 arcade because it's alot more newer than the halo edition consoles & it has the 65nm chip, it runs so much better & doesnt overh eat, it just gets barely warm, thats it & mines works flawlessly. Hope my info has helped.

The Halo Edition has the falcon chip. I have the Halo Edition and it runs significantly quieter and cooler.
