I have a new monitor that has HDMI and comes with the HDMI cable and it hooks up to the 360, but I want sound. Does anybody know how I would go about to get sound? My monitor only has ports for HDMI, DVI-D IN, and VGA-IN.

You stick a flathead screwdriver in between the halves of the shell of the component cable and twist. Now it fits alongside the HDMI cable.
So the xbox 360 audio cables connect into the speakers and the HMDI cable just remains connected to the monitor and 360? Okay that sounds easy. Thanks for the help.

I take this back. You'll need a knife to get into the plastic. I'm doing it right now and it's kind of tough.

Nah, I just used a flathead, but I went in through the end not by the side. Made it easier.
My monitor does not have built inspeakers. So I guess I'll have to buy an adapter for the Xbox 360 wires so they will work with computer speakers. Does anybody know the name of the adapter im talking about so I can check for pricing? I heard you need some kind of adapter for the audio cable to work with the computer speakers. BTW I cant test this yet because I have to get new speakers because I don't have any I just use headphones/earphones.
