Hi there

My xbox 360 has the 3 red rings for the second time now so I am contemplating what to do. I can't be bothered to wait for microsoft to come and pick it up and take 3 weeks +. So, what I wanted to now is If I keep my current hard drive, and I buy a new arcade console (with no HD) and I put in my old hard drive will it still keep all my saved games, online profiles, gamerscore etc. If it doesn't is there a way that you can without involving microsoft in it?

Regards and any help appreciated

yes you can. you must have loads of money to spend with, because buying a new console costs money. but if you can, yeah. everything is saved onto the hardrive, and you won't lose any savegames or anything else.

Cheers, also are you sure my gamertag will stay stored on there because I have heard rumours that it doesn't? Another thing too, will there be a space on the arcade console to fit a hard drive?

Regards

when i transfered my hardrive to a 360 that microsoft replaced, i didnt lose anything like gamertags etc but i didnt have a live account so i dont know about that. also i believe that an arcade 360 is able to have a hardrive from another xbox equiped to it
