Well after playing the Resident Evil 5 Demo, I turned my 360 off and went out . When I come back , I turn it on , it comes all different . The colours are all messed up , and there are like pixelish lines around things. I took everything out , put it back in , didn't fix the problem.

Send it back to microsoft if you still have warranty. I took a 3 year extended warranty out for my elite.

Yeah, because we all know that everyother company that makes electronics out there last longer than Microsoft's. -_-

umbrella infected your 360 with some nasty zombie virus:shock: expect your 360s to rise @ midnight with a hunger for human flesh

now seriously, have you tested another configuration or connection? try changing the resolution... if you're using HDMI try the composite/component cable (or vice versa)... if you're using composite/component, switch HDTV to normal connection (or vice versa), etc...

Anyway, if you call M$ support they sould ask you to do all those things... but check all by yourself first :)

If this is the same thing that happens to me from time to time (very rare). Parts of the image get all pixelated and the colors seem to go to a purple-y tint to them. Anyways, had the same thing happen to me on my xbox a couple times. It seems to have fixed itself for me though. All I did was reboot it a few times. When you reboot it just let the system sit for a good 15 seconds before turning it back on. That lets all the hardware finish turning off.

Anyways, if it hasn't fixed itself after a couple reboots. Then like everyone else is saying. Back to Microsoft it goes. :(

check the video cable coming out of the 360, see if the switch is set to TV or HD an make sure its set right. if that don't help call microsoft right away they should fix it for you free, sooner the better.

that is good to hear, but fyi: that does not mean the the problem is permanently resolved - only temporarily. someone else mentioned it above and was spot on; the gpu is starting to get the rickets (overheating). happened to me a month ago. eventually the image would lock up no matter how many time i reset and, lo and behold, RROD!

not saying its GOING to happen, but keep it in mind. better to be in the know when things go sour than all "WTF?!?"
