Xbox 360 Help PLEASE! System Problems

Okay. My Xbox 360 will only play one game(madden nfl 08 ). It wont play any other of the 20 Xbox 360 games i own. I still goes online,marketplace,demos, and arcade games. I called customer service and they ripped me off and said i had to pay 100$ to get it repaired, but they didnt tell me the problem. Madden also freezes alot. I think itsthe dvd rom but it could be from the Skate update. If anyone has had this problem please tell me what i should do. thank you for all your help.

Lol actually a good idea! It is survives then congrats your xbox has great endurance but still has your crappy problem.
