My Xbox is normally quiet when i play games, except for Bioshock 2. It gets so loud, you can hear it from across the room. The xbox is a year old and has had no problems before. The game works fine, no problems with skipping, freezing, lag, and all saves work fine. The xbox doesn't get hot, but it does vibrate quite a bit. It doesn't do this with any other games, just Bioshock 2. Its a used game in good condition. All of my other games are used as well. What could be causing this and will it damage my xbox?

Try installing the game to the hdd, this will quiet the DVD drive down which can get loud.

I assume you're playing on an Xbox 360 S? If so, I find that my slim console also gets loud with a vibrating sound for certain games for a few minutes then it'll go away, I think it's just normal though because I've never run into any problems as far as freezing or disc read errors. I usually don't find a problem with it because I install everything to my HDD anyway.

This.

And also, try not to have many games installed on the HDD at once.

Thos are the only two things that work for me.

I install the majority of my games, that always keeps the noise down. Keeps it at an almost non-existent level.

Installing the game is also good for then general health of the console. Less wear and tear.
