So, what's the deal with the Jasper? Everybody says that if I'm getting a 360 to make sure it's a Jasper.
1.) Is its fan quieter?
2.) Does it not overheat as much?
Any other benefits?
Thanks. =)

[QUOTE="4dry4n"]LOL yea and Live is gonna be free next week.I don't know about RROD proof, but it does have a less likely failure rate then older models, your chances are almost slim to never, although I don't want to rule out that possibility that it still could happen, but as far as 360 models are concerned Jasper is your safest bet for a good 360.It's RROD proof!

You didn't sense my sarcasm did you lol...The main difference is that the Jasper has a smaller GPU chip then the Falcon. It also uses less power. It helps a lot with heat but the main issue with RROD's has never been actually fixed, aka the heat sink clamps.Sins-of-MosinHeat sink clamps? RROD? I don't actually own a Xbox so maybe you can explain those terms for me? I know what RROD stands for but what causes it?
It should be a very easy fix for MS but they won't change the design for some reason.Sins-of-Mosin
Actually, I don't see any possible way for them to fix it without shipping out an entirely different console. The basic architecture would have to be drastically changed in order to place the clamps in a position in which they won't become warped.
Though with Jasper you have a better chance of being in a Hollywood movie than getting RROD.
