I use this,

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2825463

Scroll down and it shows you the connections which includes a speaker jack. It works great. You can also have cable tv on it with a picture in picture function. I use it for PS3 but I doubt there would be a difference for 360.

If your 360 is near your PC, you can plug it into the Line In on your soundcard and route the sound through your PC. Only issue with this is the PC needs to be on to get any audio.

If you look at the VGA cable that you would use to hook up to your monitor there is a little rubber plug on the base of the cable. Remove the plug which will give you an optical port - with the cable you should have gotten a small converter cable that allows you to plug one end into the optical port and give you an 1/8" mini din jack (female) on the other end. You use your regular computer speakers by plugging the cable from your computer speakers into the 1/8" jack on the VGA cable. I did this with a Psyclone VGA cable when I was using VGA. Different cables may be set up differently.

Just buy the microsoft vga cables, they come with an adapter that plugs into your sound card and if you've got good pc speakers, the sound is amazing.
