I currently own a Wii and a PC and i'm thinking about getting an Xbox 360. I have a 19" widescreen monitor for my PC with 5.1 surround sound, it is a wrong aspect ratio however, it is a 16:10 while the 360 can only do 16:9 and 4:3. And i could play my Wii on an HDTV and save up again for an Xbox 360.

If you have a blu-ray/hd dvd player, and willing to get hi-def cable or satellite.  Than I say the hdtv.  360 w/o hd is kind of a letdown.

But an hd is pretty expensive so you want to be able to utilize it.  Also a dvd player with upconversion is worth it too.

I have an hdtv and a 360 and an upconvert dvd.  After playing the 360 on a regular tv then on HD, the quality is astoundingly better.

If you use VGA cables for the 360 you can use 16:10 resolutions.

Sell your Wii and Wii games and get both a 360 and HDTV. Trust me, it is worth it. And while you are there don't forget to pick up Gears of War.

I'd get the HDTV, if you've got other reasons for getting it, other than the wii (i.e. blu-ray/ HD-DVD player, or HD sattelite/ cable tv), and then buy a 360 as soon as you have the money, but if you only want the HDTV for the Wii, then get the 360.

Get the 360.  Unless you just watch a ton of HD movies and shows.  If not you can just play the 360 on your monitor.  I do it and it looks great.  After you buy a 360 and while you save for the HDTV the prices will drop and quality will go up.  That way you get a better deal on the TV, while the 360 probably won't change in price or quality for a while.

HDTV first.

Why would you want to play on a 19" monitor?

The Wii, in my opinion, looks better on SDTV anyway.  I say get a 360 then save up for an HDTV.

i say get the 360 cause unless u plan on getting HD channels or blu-ray or HD-DVD player then u won't be getting the most out of ur HDTV.  u can still play a 360 on a SDTV, obviously the graphics will be majorly degraded, but at least u can still play all the new games coming out for the 360.  there's a ton of great games coming out too.
