So today I played my 360 for about 8-9 hours straight and all of the sudden little black fuzzy dots started appearing on my screen. I shut my xbox off then turned it back on and it showed 1 red ring and gave me the error screen. After trying for about a half hour to fix it, I just plugged in the power cable to the xbox and turned it on. It didnt show a red ring. So I plugged the video audio cable in, but then it red ringed again. Anybody know whats wrong?

The black dots are a sign that the machine is toast. The same thing started happening to mine a couple of days before it totally died and gave me the RROD. Call M$ you'll need to ship it in for repair.

1 red ring is a hardware failure, and black fuzzy dots sounds like your GPU is goooneee
