Does the HD DVD player have 7.1 surround sound and does the heroes bundle at best buy start tommarow?

Heroes bundle is reportedly tomorrow. I am returning the HD-DVD drive I got on thursday for my b-day, and going to Best Buy to take up the Heroes offer.
Not sure about 7.1. Let me check the box. Yeah, not seeing anything on the box about 7.1
