1) does microsoft sell out a gamepad lead to connect to the console in the usb port? i am tired of having to replace batteries for my wireless controller. i only want a lead.

2) my x-box 360 console continues to display the incorrect time, every time. i change the time and date on the console to the current but it will always reset to 25/11/2005.

any help? thanks in advance.

You can buy a lead that connects the controller to the USB port. It's a recharger, but you can leave it plugged in.

Or you can get a wired controller

Are you on Xbox Live? Xbox Live will automatically update your date/time. Before I was on Live my date/time would always reset, but it wouldn't reset if the Xbox was left on standby.

When connected to Xbox LIVE, the correct time should be displayed.

i have not seen those wired controllers for sale anywhere here in the stores today, or whatcould be years before. i will try online. but does the wireless controller not have a port for just a lead to connect to then from that, to the usb port of the console?

The wirless controller should have come with some sort of recharger. I have Two wireless controllers and they each have their own wired charge.
