It takes way too long, i sent mine in for now the second time and its been about to months without a 360... they should give me a free game or if i have to send it in again a free 360.... otherwise ill just buy a ps3 this is lame. well at least i have a girlfriend 2 play with, if u know what i mean..
My X360 broke only once (A day before the Halo 3 beta) ...and it took me a total of two weeks until I got my system back. That is 2 weeks starting with the day I shipped it to MS to the day I got it back in my hands...
for my first xbox 360 it took like 2 weeks but i live in the same state as one of the repair centers. i have an empty shipping box sitting on my kitchen table ready to send my 3rd 360 back.....hope it's back before halo 3.
I don't own a 360 myself (yet) but a friend of mine had his break 3 times, and each time it took him approximately 2-3 weeks to get his back. Thankfully he had a PS3 to tide him over while his 360 was in the shop, but lots of people aren't that lucky I guess.
